2021 Live Spot Prawn Updates

Important information regarding spot prawn pick-ups
Starting this Saturday, we will be selling live spot prawns out of Ladner and False Creek. Here are a few things you need to know before you come to pick up your order:
Opening Weekend (May 15-16)
➡️ Our first prawn boat aims to be at the Ladner Wharf at around 2pm, with a second boat arriving at around 5pm. We will give priorities to fulfilling pre-orders, but we recommend pre-order customers to time your arrival according to our boat schedules. Customers without pre-ordering online will pay market price starting at $20 (this is subject to change).
➡️ For False Creek, it's market price only and pre-orders are not available. Please look for the BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood sign to locate our boat (there will be multiple boats).
May 17 Onwards
➡️ Please check our Facebook page for our daily hours at Ladner Wharf. We have two separate lines for pre-orders and walk-up customers. We fulfill pre-orders in the line first before serving walk-ups.
➡️ At False Creek, you can only pick up your pre-orders from the one BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood boat. Please be sure to look for our sign. We will post False Creek hours on Facebook on Mondays-Thursdays only.
➡️ There is a possibility that spot prawns sales at False Creek may be cut short this year. If that is the case, we will follow up with pre-order customers to issue a refund or make alternative arrangements. We will keep you posted.
When You Come to Pick Up Your Order
➡️ You must have your order number ready from your confirmation email/text or your order confirmation page. If you can't find the order number in your email, click on the big red button that says "View Your Order" to access your order confirmation page.
➡️ Please watch for signage to where our boat is located.
➡️ There is still a line for pre-order pick-ups, and we will move the line as quickly as we can.
➡️ Please wear a mask and maintain physical distance with other customers.
➡️ You must pick up your pre-order on your chosen date. That guarantees the pre-sale price. If you are picking up your order on another day, you will be subject to market price and you will have to pay the difference.
➡️ Hours are subject to change depending on factors such as prawn availability, weather and mechanical issues.
➡️ Spot prawns are subject to availability. If we are sold out for the day before fulfilling your pre-order, we will issue a refund or re-schedule your pick-up to another day.
➡️ Please make sure to follow us on Facebook for live updates on hours and any last minute changes.
COVID Guidelines
Safety is our priority. Here is what we're doing to protect our team and you:
➡️ We will wear masks and gloves, and will have an area with hand sanitizer and paper towels.
➡️ Plexiglass is installed on the boat to put a barrier between customers and employees.
➡️ We will have cones & barriers to indicate where customers should line up. We will also have someone walking up and down to ensure physical distancing is followed.
Other Reminders
➡️ We are delivering live spot prawns across Greater Vancouver everyday. Hours vary depending on when the boats are docking, but we will give as much notice as possible before we arrive at your door. You must come outside to meet Lisa for your delivery order and we will ensure physical distancing to keep each other safe.
➡️ Our prices are subject to change depending on prawn availability and market price. Current prices are for pre-orders only.
