BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood is excited to announce that it will be delivering live spot prawns to homes in Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto during the 2025 live spot prawn season. The spot prawn season starts on May 14 and pre-orders are now open.

The company currently delivers frozen BC wild-caught, fishermen-direct seafood to homes across Canada. “We finally are able to work it out this year and we can’t wait to bring this BC delicacy to other parts of the country!”
BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood (BCLSPS) provides the freshest, wild-caught seafood directly from fishermen to customers. Customers are guaranteed only sustainable, antibiotic-free and hormone-free live, fresh or frozen spot prawns, salmon, sablefish, lingcod, halibut, and more. Since 2019, thousands of happy customers in Greater Vancouver have bought live spot prawns from BCLSPS.

Pre-orders are now open on the BCLSPS website. During the 2025 live spot prawn season, BCLSPS will ship its fresh catch out-of-province two days a week via air freight and deliver to homes by private courier. Customers can pre-order for 8 lbs, 10 lbs, or 12 lbs of live spot prawns, which will be packaged with gel packs in styrofoam for freshness. Limited spots are available for each shipping date.
BCLSPS does not grade its spot prawns and the spot prawns come directly from the fishing boat. That means customers can expect to find the large and XL spot prawns in their order, freshest from the daily catch. Customers can check the status page for updates during the live spot prawn season.
