As an English teacher abroad, I lived for a year in a small, remote fishing village on the northern-most coast of Japan’s northern-most island. I love fresh fish and ate it there to my heart’s content. Now back in land-locked Alberta, I actively seek it out. I love B.C. Live Spot Prawns because they’ll ship the best right to my door. It’s fabulous! Frozen, but obviously frozen when it was still fresh. And so sweet! I especially love the steaks, because although they’re a bit trickier to eat, I find fish on the bone sweeter than filets. Highly recommended!

Coho so fresh it's like being on the boat. Beautiful deep orange colour, firm flesh, smells like the ocean. We've eaten it smoked, poached, baked, grilled, fried and steamed. A treat everytime.
