Having purchased spot prawns in the past, we ordered 3 packages of lox to enjoy at a friend’s cabin this summer - Needless to say, the smoked salmon got rave reviews. The lox were served up with bagels, cream cheese and capers for a fabulous breakfast and the rest became part of our happy hour charcuterie board later in the week. Ordering/delivery was hassle free and we passed your contact information along to the whole gang. We’ll definitely be repeat customers.

I have to say that my wife and I live for these weekly seafood specials LOL. Last night I ordered 5 pounds of fresh halibut and was delivered before noon this morning and looks absolutely fantastic! We will add this to the remainder of our weekly specials purchased in the past few weeks including halibut cheeks, Ling cod and we still have some remaining black cod frozen from 2 months ago.
Considering we are seniors and retired and are trying to do the right thing with diet and eat fish as per the Mediterranean Diet several times a week to reduce cardiovascular risk (the commonest cause of mortality in North America), we have been treating ourselves to a steady diet of the most delicious and freshest fish one can get. The huge bonus is that there is virtually no effort involved apart from picking up our iPhone and punching in the order as it gets delivered free of charge routinely at our door over the past half a year. Occasionally, we make an error in the order which is amazingly swiftly dealt with (within hours) merely by responding to the confirmatory email for the order. Yesterday, I somehow purchased 5 pounds of halibut to be picked up in Ladner and within a couple of hours of emailing that we would prefer to have it delivered, that delivery was confirmed.
Between fresh high-quality fish and flash-freezing of most of our orders we cook the fish in our sous-vide between 25 and 38 minutes at 120° to 124°F, dose it with a breading or flowering or cornstarch and flash fry for 60 seconds on either side for superb tasting experience.

I order regularly from BC Live Spotprawns. The quality is generally good to excellent; although, somewhat uneven. I ordered the special offered on salmon fillets and halibut cheeks and the quality was excellent. In fact, the salmon fillets were larger and better than the regularly priced offerings.
