Caught in British Columbia, our succulent full-flavoured Haida Gwaii Spring Salmon are the largest of the Pacific salmon species. Spring Salmon is also known as King Salmon and Chinook Salmon. They are essentially the KING OF SALMON!
Wild spring salmon has a velvety texture with lots of large, soft flakes once cooked. Because of its slightly higher fat content than other fish, it has a luxurious, rich taste. You can buy either spring salmon fillets or spring salmon steaks from us.
Wild Spring Salmon Notes:

Usually the quality of salmon I get is unparalleled which is why I’m a regular customer. However this time around unfortunately the salmon I got is freezer burnt. Alot of the flesh has a yellow tint because of freezer burn and just not the usual quality. I can tell its otherwise good quality. such a shame considering i ordered 20 pounds.

Wild spring salmon is very tasty and fresh but comes with skin and bones so prepare to do a bit of work to cut sashimi size slices. It's perfect if you're just cooking the fillet in the oven or on the BBQ.
