Raw pacific cod is opaque and creamy white, while cooked cod is white, lean, and flaky. They are great for fish and chips or fish tacos, but you can also make a simple meal by just pan-frying or baking it with some garlic, herbs,s and butter. Don't confuse lingcod with pacific cod because they are two different types of fish.
The fish for wild-caught Pacific cod fillets is sustainably caught from the west coast of Vancouver Island. Cod is a good source of low-fat protein, phosphorus, niacin, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B12.
