Fresh & live products are all subject to availability. When you order, you're ordering per fish and paying a deposit for the first 3lb of each fish. Because each fish weighs differently, you will have to pay the difference when you receive your fish at their respective per lb rate. We have two sizes of fish so please order accordingly. We accept cash, Interact, Visa and MasterCard at pickup.

Black Cod, also known as Sablefish, from the waters in Haida Gwaii, is famous for its velvety texture with a rich and delicate buttery flavour with a hint of sweetness. Grilled, smoked, poached or roasted, you cannot go wrong serving a decadent piece of wild black cod.

    So pleased!

    I’d never had sablefish before and had wanted to try Chef Nobu’s miso marinated black cod for a long time. Fish was superb, son and I almost died laughing while filleting and skinning it, first time doing that but luckily had purchased a Wüsthof flexible filleting knife for the task.Was not contacted prior to Calgary home delivery as had been expected, but son was home to receive. Shared with chef neighbour and a couple of my favourite guys at Cutting Edge, meal of marinated fish, homemade pickled ginger and snow peas with roasted sesame oil. Very pleased.
